Why I chose these places

Iqaluit
My father move to Iqaluit when he was 16 years old and stayed until he was 25. My grandmother got a job as a nurse in the prison and then my father worked there as a correctional officer when he was 17.
I grew up with countless stories of what it was like to live in the north, and about their connections to the indigenous people there and the land. my house if filled with things they collected over the years and that were gifted to my family, most notably we have a poplar bear skin, artic fox skin, and a narwhal tusk.

Fort Erie
A lot of my boyfriends family lives in Fort Erie and he used to go often as a kid.
I would really like to there so i can meet his family and see the place where he spend a lot of time when he was young. It's important to him, so it's important to me.
